These beautiful sturdy little stools are hand crafted and hand painted in Thailand, from sustainable monkey pod wood. Made for use as a childs stool, but we have many customers buying them for other uses such as, side table,a step for reaching high cupboards, footstool, gardening stool etc. A perfect gift and keepsake. 

As each stool is handcrafted, please allow for slight imperfections in the wood such as knots and colour variations . these markings in no way detract from the quality or use of the stool and in most peoples eyes only add to the beauty of a handmade wooden item

A little bit about us:

We are a family business based in the Cotswolds. It all began in 2004 with African Creations, travelling to Zimbabwe and buying stone carvings and metal sculptures from the local Zimbabwean artisans.

 In 2009 we started our second company,Travellers Finds, the reason behind this was that we had started buying from countries other than African and we wanted to start a company that could encompass all of our future travels and sourcing. 

We travel directly to all of the countries that we deal with forming strong, close relationships with the families and artisans that we buy from. It is with pleasure that we bring their amazing hand crafted pieces directly to you. Many of the items we sell are our own designs, this is possible because of the good relationship we share with the craftsmen and women that we work with.

 It is such an important part of our business to deal directly as it ensures we pay a fair price for the products and that all of our products are ethically sourced.
