Head Raptor B2 RD shoes are equipped with 4 aluminum Spine-Flex buckles with micro-adjustment (by rotating the buckle around your own you can change its length).
Buckles are characterized by an elastic astringent element, guaranteeing a better fit of the shell and with a fixed attachment point,
which allows you to fasten the shoes more tightly, without the risk of local pressure.
Racing Low Profile buckles are perfect for pole vaulting. Mounting with screws allows efficient servicing of the shoe.
At the top of the upper there is a Velcro with a width of 40 mm, which acts as 5 buckles. The double clasp acts as a lever, thanks to which it allows for even more accurate fastening.
The result is precise energy transfer and faster ski response.
The competitive character of the Head Raptor B2 RD is also influenced by the Race Balance profile –
the upper was inclined to 16 degrees, while the sole was inclined to 4 degrees (ramp angle).
The more inclined profile helps during aggressive riding, eliminating any time losses when loading the skis.
In addition, the set with the shoes includes both a composite Velcro insert that adjusts the slope, as well as a Racing spoiler, fixed with screws.
The thickness of the sole meets FIS standards.
Head Raptor B2 RD ski boots also have extensive flex adjustment in the range of 160-150-140.
Adjustment is carried out by means of a screw mechanism, which is located in the back of the upper, connecting it to the lower part of the shell.
To reduce the stiffness of the shoes, just remove the screw and replace it with plastic caps attached to the shoes.
