Please note sloppy stitching on the sheath, a shame when the rest of the knife is superb. I think best solution is to pull existing stitches and replace with black or dark brown thread. I took 20% off the orginal price I was going to offer this for.

A normal profile has a curved cutting edge and straight back that lets the wielder use fingers to concentrate force as well as making the knife heavy and strong for it's size. The curve concentrates force on a smaller area, making cutting easier. The knife can chop as well as carve, pick and slice. It's also the best single-edged blade shape for thrusting, as the edge cuts a swath that the entire width of the knife can then pass through without the spine having to push aside any material as other knife profiles like the drop point and sheepsfoot would. Effective for tasks from food preparation including cleaning, skinning, scaling fish and game. Also an effective weapon with penetrating power second to only a dagger.
