picked this up in saudi years ago - probably needs to be restrung - it's strung on plastic cord or line - a gorgeous antique amber necklace - about 15 inches total length clasped - no clasp - many times stringing of these beads in the souks is simply a means of organizing them - they are meant to be restrung - about 164 grams weight - the beads are oval - color is butterscotch - 27 amber beads, and 9 spacer beads total - amber beads are roughly 1 inch in length each - would make a lovely christmas gift, especially restrung into something a bit more modern looking
