These double denarius coins are primarily silver, from before the 3rd century currency debasement (after that, double denarii were primarily bronze with a thin coating of silver).

These are authentic ancient silver coins from the Roman Empire, dating from over 1700 years ago. The antoninianus was the main silver coin of the Roman Empire during the mid-late 3rd century, with 1 coin representing roughly the daily wage of a common laborer.
