Hi, this auction is for a custom made domed resin/gel bonnet lip/stone protector to fit the FORD FOCUS MK3 ST PRE FACELIFTMODEL. The lip/protector is approximately 795mm x 50mm and is shaped to go around the top of the ford badge on the front of your car, it is CARBON FIBRE EFFECT in colour and would really compliment blue/white/red or silver cars. Please don't mistake this for cheaply made versions, this has been manufactured in the UK under stringent ISO9001 quality controlled conditions using automotive grade adhesive. The lip/protector is ideal if you want to cover up any existing stone chips along the leading edge of your bonnet or indeed if you want to help protect from getting any chips in the first place as the resin/gel will help to absorb the impact from small road debris thrown up from other vehicles in front of you. This lip is substantially larger than the other fiesta and focus st bonnet lips that I sell and is priced accordingly. The black one shown fitted to a customers car are for reference only and are not included in the sale, the auction is for one CARBON FIBRE EFFECT lip only, the front end picture of the focus is again for reference only and shows what the lip would look like on your car. Before fitting this you must ensure that the leading edge of your bonnet is throughly cleaned of all and any car polish/wax residues as the lip/protector will not adhere properly if any residues are present. It is best to do this with something like a clay bar or panel wipe or an alcohol based wipe/cleaner. Then it helps if you heat the back of the lip/protector up a bit with a hairdryer as it makes the adhesive more tacky, the lip/protector can then be manipulated into shape on your cars bonnet (every car bonnet is slightly different due to the manufacturing process and will therefore require some manipulation). This lip/protector is easily removable should you want to at a later date by heating it up with a hairdryer. This will be sent in a cardboard tube or small box to avoid damage in transit.
