A rare lens for the Zeiss Collecter or East German collecter. Stored since it was bought and the earliest multi-coated lowest serial number of this stunning 85mm F:2 Zeiss Jena lens. Made for the Contax ll or lll, or 111a or 11a cameras. it is exceptional in that the appearance of its aluminum housing is like new. The focus is smooth, Glass is exceptional for age, diaphragm is smooth and excellent. Works well all around! I purchased this lens over 50 years ago from Exakta repair in NYC that is no longer in business. This was the repair facility of Exakta Camera of Bronxville,N.Y. It is in meters and was manufactured earlier when Exakta Camera was carrying Pentacon as another line of East German Cameras.
