Military Royal Fusiliers Marching Band Side Drum Sticks & Mallet By Henry Potter​

This is a pair of ebonized snare side drum sticks, each with a nickel silver top displaying the emblem for:
'Royal Fusiliers'

'In 1951 the Band of the 43rd (6th (City) Battalion, The Royal Northumberland Fusiliers) Royal Tank Regiment, or simply the Band of the 43rd Royal Tank Regiment was formed in Newcastle upon Tyne.'

The shaft of both drum sticks is stamped with the maker:
'Potter London'

. In 1810 Samuel Potter started a musical instrument company when his first son, Henry, was born. Samuel was already a very big figure in Royal and military music but, as an officer of the British Army, he was forbidden to form a company. However, he started the company in the name of his newborn child Henry.
The company started as specialists in drums, fifes and bugles quickly establishing itself and soon diversifying into other areas of music and the Military. Henry Potter & Co. The sticks also come complete with a bass drum mallet.
