A fine quality vintage skirt suit by Fay Louise in red with black trim. Would be great for Christmas Day wear, or for smart work wear, or casual daily wear.
The top is a jumper style in red and black soft knit - 90% acrylic and 10% wool. Soft and comfortable to wear - cosy without being too thick.
The jumper top is a loose fitting shape which just slips over your head. It has black trim down the centre with red decorative buttons and black celtic scroll pattern. There are two red buttons on each cuff and red buttons on the mock pockets at the front of the jumper. The matching skirt is a pencil shape with a small slit at the back. The waist is elasticated for comfort fit.
A medium size the jumper is supposed to be loose fitting - best fit for a modern size 14 - bust up to 38 inches - pit to pit is 19 1/2 inches. Shoulder to shoulder 16 inches. Length of top from neck to hem 26 inches.
Skirt waist 28-30 inches. Hips up to 38 inches. Length from waistband to hem 26 inches.
In great condition no damage.
