1 What is an inverter?
Inverter is to convert DC (dc12vor24 V battery, storage battery) into current (generally AC220V50HZ sine or square wave)

 

2 What is the connection method?
Vehicle use:
The car is 12V or the freight car is 24 V, and the inverter can be used by connecting it to the socket of the automobile cigarette lighting hole through the cigarette lighter. However, the maximum output power of the automobile cigarette lighting hole is only 150W, so the power input through the automobile cigarette lighting hole is only electrical appliances within 150W. Otherwise, the cigarette lighter will burn due to the excessive power of electrical appliances.

Household appliance:
The lead of the inverter is clamped to the battery, and the red wire is connected to the positive level, and the black wire is connected to the negative level (it is not allowed to connect it reversely)

The power consumption place is far away from the battery, and the inverter wiring principle is that the input line cannot be lengthened (lengthening leads to the decrease of output power), and the output socket can be connected with a row and inserted with a long line.

 

Protection function of inverter
(1)High voltage protection: if the battery voltage is too high, start protection. Solution: put some battery or replace the battery
(2)Low voltage protection: when the battery voltage is too low, the protection system will be started. Solution: charge the battery or replace the battery
(3) reverse connection protection: there is no reaction when the link is reversed with the positive and negative electrodes of the battery. Solution: the red line is connected with the positive level, and the black line is connected with the negative level
(4)Over temperature protection: disconnection due to over temperature due to poor ventilation. Solution: turn off the inverter, cool down for a period of time, clean up the surrounding items, place in the shade, reduce the load and restart
(5)Overload protection: when the load power is too high. Solution: use electric appliances with power less than inverter rated power
(6)short circuit protection: automatically turn off or start alarm protection (buzzer or red light) when short circuit is found

The modified sine wave inverter uses PWM pulse width modulation to generate correction wave output. When the invertering is too long, due to the use of special circuit and high-power FET, the power loss of the system is greatly reduced, and the soft start function is added, which effectively ensures the feasibility of the inverter.


(1)Suitable for resistive load apparatus:
Mobile phones, computers, LCD TVs, incandescent lamps, fans, video players, small printers, rice cookers and other electrical appliances are resistive loads


(2)Not suitable for inductive load: such as motor, refrigerator, air conditioner, etc. Such products require a much larger starting current (about 3-7 times) than the current required to maintain normal operation. For example, a 150W consumption refrigerator can start up to 1000W or more

 

What is the peak output power? What is continuous output power?

Peak power refers to the power produced by electrical appliances at the moment of starting. It usually refers to electric motors, refrigerators, air conditioners, induction furnaces and other electrical appliances. When starting, the instantaneous starting power is formed due to the large current, which becomes the peak output power. Once the start-up is successful, only a small current is required to maintain operation. Therefore, the inverter has the probability of continuous output power and peak output power. The continuous output power is the rated output power, and the peak output power is 2 times of the rated output power. It must be emphasized that the starting current of some electrical appliances, such as air conditioners, refrigerators and other inductive load appliances, is 3-7 times of the normal working current. Therefore, only the inverter which can meet the peak power of electric appliance can work normally.

 

Which battery is better to use inverter
It is generally recommended that the lead-acid battery is stable when using inverter. It is not recommended to use lithium battery because of its low capacity and high voltage, which can easily make the inverter produce high voltage protection, and the current is unstable, which is easy to damage the internal tubes of the inverter.
