Antique Vintage Brutalist Student College High School Graduate Metal Sculpture!!.

This is a handmade metal sculpture that I found in a dusty basement of an estate sale. It is in the form of a school graduate. Complete with gown and cap, diploma, and a book. The design is a brutalist style. The hair of the figure is some type of wire.

I cant say for certain if it originally had this much patina on it originally. On the back of the piece you can see some spots of copper. So I believe the metal is copper. It is screwed into a wooden base. One of the strait screws has some rust on it. I cant find a signature on the statue, so I don’t know the maker.

It is a large statue standing about 16 1/2 inches tall with the base. 14 inches without the base.

It is about 11 inches from the end of each arm to the other. It is also about 7 inches deep not counting the base.

It weights in total 5 pounds and 11 ounces

I did not take it off the base or do any cleaning besides removing some cob webs.

This would be perfect in the waiting room of a college office for example.
