3” Roman Glass Tear Jar Purchased In Egypt During 1950’s.

For sale is this beautiful ancient Middle Eastern era artifact. This is part of a collection being sold that came from a collector from LA, and may be as old as 2500 years old!!! This is an incredibly rare piece! It has some light coloration and toning to it. This is being out of a private collection with provenance but no COAs have been provided as this was purchased by his father during the 1950’s directly from markets in the Middle East while traveling for work as a gemstone importer.

It would be perfect for using as a teaching tool, displaying, wearing, or using as a conversation piece! Perfect for any collection. This piece is relatively small. It is intact, though may have small chips and a rough around the edges though.

It is in good condition given this age but has surface damage, but is in one piece. It comes as you see it in the photos

Be sure to check over the details and look at all of the photos so you will know exactly what you’ll get! Sometimes the photos include a picture of the item next to a ruler so that you can better tell the size of the item. This way we can avoid any accidental sizing issues. My goal is to make you happy!
