This amazing Gibson EB-3 is in excellent shape with all-original pickups, finish, and hardware!

This bass has the famously huge sound that is owed to the thunderous combination of the “sidewinder” neck pickup with the mini humbucker at the bridge.

The bass sets up extremely well with no erroneous buzzing and spot-on, perfect intonation, which is not necessarily common for the EB-3 model. For the instrument to be in this good shape both cosmetically and functionally is very rare.

The 6-digit serial number and potentiometer codes date this bass to 1964, making this bass nearly 60 years old! The bass is super clean, with only very light finish wear and all moving parts functioning smoothly as they were designed. This includes full functionality of the reverse-gear tuners, rotary switch, and felt instant-mute under the bridge.

The purchase of this bass includes a vintage hard shell case, which is pictured and fits the instrument just right.
