Fiber Optic Image Conduit, lot of 2 QTY, 33%off. 15" L; 3" over others. 2 or 3 mm. Diam.

3 inches free. And 33% off list price of only major public facing competitor.

Downside? Rough ground edges right now. But I got #320 (SiC), 25 um , 15 um, 9 um., 5 um, WAO and 1 in CeO, for slurry, to buff them up.

I'll use amateur telescope grinder methods.

Items shown in first picture, are items delivered. I am a new seller so I'm unsure how the packing goes. But I will double pack in hard plastic tube and hard cardboard tube and foam or paper inbetween. And probably pick an expensive insured type of transport. I figure a 50 or 100 dollar option should suffice, for safe delivery. Buyer pays shipping.

Some nice "FRAGILE GLASS" stickers in big letters cant hurt. (May be put those tubes in a box too? With cardboard to hold it stiff around the tube, so the box won't collapse or crush?)

Each FOIC passed through a 3/32" hole screw checker. So it's at maximum 2.38125 mm.

I was told they are standard resolution. So probably 50 um fiber diameters.

 ((3÷32×25.4)×π)÷(0.00005×2×π) = 23,813 fibers per FOIC.

Approx. But not guaranteed.

Picture descriptions.

No guarantee against minor end defects. See pictures "pit". You can grind those out and repolish.

Rainbow madness !!! From my monster prism. The picture doesn't do it justice. Quite a vibrant, large rainbow.

Several pictures of my graphite forms. And a cut and ground and "Z" curved FOIC. "S" was my target. As the graphite form suggests.

A typographic "e" transmitted through a 5/64" diameter FOIC. The ones for sale are slightly larger. 6/64" = 3/32". I believe this wasn't polished completely? Maybe 25 um or 15 um WAO ; but not down to 1 um. CeO w/ pitch polish?

And a picture of my grits and 2 or 3 FOIC polishing pucks.

And finally a picture of Edmund optic paper catalog of ten years ago.

Last week similar (but shorter: @ 12 ") FOICs were listed at edmund for 444$, so I will start bidding at 300 each. 2 QTY. for 600$ total. ( Canadian dollars)

Please bid it up or we all go to hell !!!

But it now at 800.
