This patch was most likely a back up to wardrobe since the glue is intact but I cannot rule out that it was applied to a costume with wardrobe back to back tape as often done to save time from ironing on patches or from sewing them on.

Often but not always is the character name written inside of the clothing,
or belt for identification by wardrobe department.
Other times when the clothing may be removed by an actor in a scene the clothing is not marked inside the wardrobe in order to avoid it showing up on screen. It really depends on the designer for the production. Sometimes none of the wardrobe is labeled on the actual piece of clothing and they are labeled with a large paper tag
when stored before given to the actor to wear for that day's filming. 
It is also customary for costume designers to write the character's name on the item instead of the actor's name unless it is an extra actor who does not have a character name in the script and then the extra actor's name is written on the item in case there are multiple days the actor needs to wear the same item. Also if there are several episodes the character is wearing the same outfit, many of the same pieces of clothing will be used i.e. 5 pairs of the same jeans or shirt. This is so the actor is wearing clean clothes or in case an accident happens that damages clothing there is a spare pair for them to wear. In the case of TRUE BLOOD, blood is often used in many scenes so several of the same clothing item are used. Some items used for non-bloody part of the scene and the same item worn for when blood come in contact with the actor. For one blood scene the actor may wear 2 to 6 pairs of the same jeans, so you may see multiple items listed when this is the case. Some of my items has minor fake blood stains. When that is the case, it will be listed in the item description.

NO RETURNS on any of my items.  I don't sell anything I wouldn't approve of as I am a picky collector myself. No Junk here!  This is not my main source of income and do not want to deal with the time involved with returns and such which is why I only sell acceptable good items.  Also a Vintage item or Rare Collectable may be abused by the buyer and when it is returned the item is lowered in value and I cannot sell it again.  I have had no complaints or returns!

SHIPPING is usually Parcel Post or First Class for under 13 oz. which is the cheapest .  If you want it faster I can ship regular Priority but it will cost about $1 dollars more...  I also tag on a service charge fee as PayPal charges Sellers to use their service and also Ebay has listing fees and Final Sales Fee.    I know what I want to profit on my items but if I let Ebay and PayPal take most of that I am not making any money and it is not worth the time to sell things on Ebay.  Like any Retail Store or Sales these types of costs are passed onto the customer. I try to be as fair as possible.  THANKS FOR UNDERSTANDING.

 I do allow for combined shipping with my other items up for sale for lower cost.   I do not make money off of shipping and try to make it as cheap as possible. I will add a little cost if the item requires lots of bubble wrap and paypal fees.  All items packed with care!!!
