Samsung Captivate Galaxy S (AT&T) 3G Smartphone (SGH-i897) FOR PARTS OR REPAIR

This is a used Samsung Captivate Galaxy S 3G Smartphone for parts or repair only. The phone was purchased new in 2010 by myself and was treated well, and used as an MP3 player/camera only in its later life. A tool was dropped on it recently which cracked the display and touchscreen. The phone powers on and functions but no graphics are visible on the display screen and therefore we cannot warrant that the touchscreen functions either.

Condition Notes and Used Item Testing:

This smartphone was disassembled and reassembled with a spare screen and touchscreen to check functionality of the remainder of the phone. Other than the nonfunctional display screen and touchscreen, the smartphone functions as intended.

The default applications, camera, keyboard toggle, display, WiFi, GPS, 3.5mm jack, Micro USB (for charging and data transfer) and loudspeaker are all operational. The phone has minor damage to its plastic corners, various scratches/scuffs on the front and rear plastic carrier, two small dents and several nicks on the rear metal battery covering, and the cracked and nonfunctional display screen and touchscreen. The phone has been wiped and factory-reset prior to being disassembled and reassembled with its original parts after testing.

I believe this smartphone is carrier-unlocked but cannot confirm. It was originally used with AT&T and then later StraightTalk Wireless (this was 8 years ago, to my recollection the phone was unlocked prior to switching carriers).
