The commemorative coin with the face value of 2 hryvnias is dedicated to the hundredth anniversary of ice hockey in Ukraine. The date of publication of the Official Ice Hockey Rules in Ukrainian under the editorship of I.Boberskyi in 1910 has been chosen the terminus a quo for the ice hockey history in Ukraine. At that date the ice hockey was one of the most popular winter sports in Lviv.
