Lithops, also known as "living stones", can add an interesting accent to your home or garden. The succulent plants, which resemble stones and grow a daisy-like flower, come in various shapes, textures and colors. Originally from southern Africa, Lithops can withstand temperatures up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

We are a "Specialty Seed Shop". Our Seeds NEED to be grown in "PROPER" conditions (Humidity (70-100% AT ALL TIMES)/Temperature (23-30C AT ALL TIMES). Usually grown in a controlled area. (Indoor Greenhouse-Fish Tank-Terrarium etc with Grow Lights).(Seeds can take months to germinate). Know what you're doing "FIRST, BEFORE BUYING" from us. If you "DO NOT" have these Proper Conditions and Set Up to grow our seeds, (Following Our Recommended Growing instructions), then PLEASE don't buy from us.
GROWING INSTRUCTIONS:
-Use a good quality cactus soil mix. Mix in a small amount of good potting soil into your cactus mix. (((You can also use a soil of 1/3 perlite, 1/3 sand, and 1/3 sifted potting soil. <(((What we use for our Lithops)))(Picture). (You also can use other Lithops soil mixes. There are many. Make sure to use smaller grit for Seeds/Seedlings). More info about that on Google.). Moisten the mix with water, and fill a pot with drainage holes, up to about 1/2 inch from the top.
-Sprinkle the seeds over the soil. You can cover them with a dusting layer of fine quality sand with no salts in it. Or a little more of your soil mix. Do not cover with too much or the seeds may not germinate. Less is better.
-Fill a spray bottle with water and mist the soil with it. Try to keep the soil moist throughout the germination period. Cover the pot with plastic wrap with some toothpick holes in it to help the soil retain moisture.
-Place the pot in a warm, sunlit area. Aim for a temperature of approximately 65 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Place a heating mat underneath the pot, if needed. Expect the seeds to germinate within about 2 to 12 weeks. Keep Soil moist.
-Remove the plastic wrap or glass pane once the seeds germinate. Transplant the seedlings to individual pots when the plants start to crowd each other and are big enough to handle, which is usually in a year. Place the pots in a sunny location.
-Avoid overwatering the seedlings as they grow. Water them once the top 1/4-inch layer of soil is dry. After about three months, allow the soil to dry completely between watering .
Provide lithops with at least five hours of sunlight per day.
Don't expect all the seed to germinate at the same time. Some seeds may take as long as a year to germinate.
ALSO look up more growing info on Google because you might need to adjust do to your location and conditions.
((RECOMMENDED))-(Germinate seeds indoors in a controlled environment with Florescent or LED Lighting. (IE.. Terrarium, Fish tank, indoor greenhouse etc.). Something that you can get the proper Temp/Humidity to germinate.) More info on Google about that. (DO NOT put seeds on a windowsill. That doesn't always work. Temperature and Humidity fluctuate to much.)
