I have here for sale a 2-book set entitled ANCIENT RELIQUES; or Delineations of Monastic, Castellated & Domestic Architecture, and other Interesting Subjects, with Historical and Descriptive Sketches by James Storer, Vols I and II.  A first edition published by W Clarke, London in 1812 and 1813.  There are a total of 50 b/w engraved plates (24 in Vol I and 26 in Vol II) showing different churches, castles and interesting buildings from around the country.  

Full leather highly decorated hardboards with gilt decorative wide border, a geometric stamping and then criss-cross pattern to centre of boards.  6 raised bands to the spine with black leather title and volume blocks and gilt lettering.  Wear to board edges and both front boards and the rear board of Vol II are detached.  Vol II's rear board is very loose and has sellotape on the hinge.  Vol I's front free endpaper and prelim page are also detached. Marbled page edges and pages pretty clean and firm.  A few foxing spots.  Condition: good.  Unpaginated.  22 x 14 cm.

Postage will be by Air Mail outside of UK.  If you buy more than one item then the postage cost falls for the second and further items as I will put them into one parcel - so you save money. We wrap and post the parcels on Monday and Tuesday - therefore if you pay before midday on Tuesday we will get it in the postal sacks on Tuesday night, and if it is after that time then it will go into the postal service on the following Monday.
