Vintage / antique business card for the Monument Cafe, E Victor Comosh, Proprietor. It was located at the Corner of Summit and St. Clair Streets in Toledo, Ohio, and offered "choice wines, liquors, tobacco and cigars" as well as "Good Goods."

There is a humorous story in a parody of Dutch American English. The story includes a reference to the war in the Philippines, which would date this card to the early twentieth century. Emmanuel Victor Comosh lived in Toledo around this time, with records showing him working as a glass cutter from around 1905 on, so he may have run this cafe before going on to different work.

Measures approx. 3 7/8 x 2 3/8
