Here today for your consideration we have this beautiful Art Deco sterling silver porringer or child's bowl, made by Stewart Dawson & Co of Australia , c-1933. The bowl is of round and shallow form with understated styling, being of very good quality throughout. Condition is good used, with a few minor knocks and dents throughout from a lifetime of use. The bowl features a well executed inscription to one facing and is hallmarked to the base. An attractive piece of antique Australian sterling silver for the collection.
The bowl stands 3.5cm tall and has a diameter of 13cm at the rim. Unpacked, it weighs in at 88gms.

Sterling silver offered at William Sharpe Antiques is original and authentic, showing signs of use over its life. Unless expressly stated above, all pieces are free from major structural damage. However, normal signs of use including shallow depressions, fine scratches, and minor pattern and hallmark wear should be expected. All pieces (unless expressly stated above) have undertaken a very light polish with respect to the original patina, and a decision for further polishing will be left to the new custodian.
