The felt giraffe was the most beautiful thing in the world. It was soft and gentle, with a long neck that kids could wrap their arms around. They would play together, pretending to be explorers in far-off lands, or brave knights saving kingdoms from dragons.

But one day, the felt giraffe was gone. The kids were heartbroken, searching through every nook and cranny of their playroom for it. They asked their parents if they had seen it, but nobody knew where it was.

Days passed and the kids stopped playing altogether. Without the felt giraffe, everything seemed dull and pointless. One morning, as they were getting ready for school, they heard a noise coming from under the bed. There, in a dusty corner, was the felt giraffe! They hugged it tight and never let go again.
