in Holland known as Kookpot or Kachelpan

probably end 16th, early 17th Century
 
handmade ceramic / earthenware, 
with slightly upraised ears / handles, called: worstoren, translates as: sausage ears,
inner side with glaze,

in used condition, chipping of the glaze due to use and age, 
with a large crack that has been restored with iron clamps, the clamps only go half-way through the ceramic, so they are not visible on the inside,
very skilled work, probably done in the 19th Century,
mended to keep in use for non-liquids
