Stunning pair of 19th Century French hard-paste porcelain lidded urns, unsigned. The two-piece bolted urns feature hand-painted putti scenes, one with putti pulling a goat, the other with putti on a log seesaw, both on blue ground each with rose encrused inlay, gilt ring handles and gilt trim. Each measure 16" high to top of finial, 13 1/4" high to top without lid, x 9" wide handle to handle. Urns are in very good antique condition, it appears the handles may have been repaired and been overpainted in gold based on the heaviness, though no breaks can bee seen, there is gilt loss to the flowers from age. A fine addition to any home or collection!
