Superb Antique Oil lamp standing 72.5cm tall overall.

The lamp has a glossy black glazed terracotta socle base with a classical column upon a base decorated with concentric circles. There is a hole drilled in the brass base presumably for a historical electrification.

The font is of a pale amethyst colour and of a wrythen spiral form (Baccarat Bambous?) with a brass screw fit undermount and collar.

A “Best British Make” duplex burner is fitted and has working wick winders, a snuffer lever, quality antique gallery, new wick and an Anchor brand flat bulge chimney.

The lamp is completed with a gorgeous antique globe shaped shade profusely acid etched with a floral pattern. Very minor flea bites to bottom rim as pictured.
