This is a wonderful, striking compilation of histories of many of the regiments and organizations from North Carolina which served in the Confederate army.  North Carolina Regiments, as it came to be called, presents regimental histories on North Carolina Regiment numbered from the 43^rd Regiment to the 69^th Regiment. The histories of the 43d, 44^th, 45^th, 46^th, 47^th, 48^th, 49^th, 50^th, 51^st, 52^nd, 53^rd, 54^th, 55^th, 56^th, 57^th, 58^th, 59^th 60^th, 61^st, 62^nd, 63^rd, 64^th, 65^th, 66^th, 67^th, 68^th, and 69^th Regiments are all included.  

In addition to the regimental histories, there are sketches of brigades, accounts of battles in which North Carolinians fought, and lists of officers. The book is loaded with portraits, many of them not available elsewhere.  The book is richly illustrated and contains maps as well.

This strikingly attractive book is new, unread and in pristine condition. It has no shortcomings.  The book is handsomely bound in Confederate gray, oil cloth covers with bright, full-color, crossing flags featuring the Confederate battle flag and the State Flag of North Carolina.  The cover is nicely decorated and has no wear.  The pages are bright white and clean and there isn’t a mark in the book. It is solidly bound.  The book has 761 pages and features wonderful illustrations, portraits, and maps in addition to the excellent histories of regiments and battalions.  These histories and other accounts are written by Civil War veterans.  This is a pristine-condition book, new book.
