About the Artist

My name is Nadia Awan. I am a Pop Surreal artist from London UK. I have been selling my art professionally for the last 10 years, selling at markets, festivals, online and galleries. Painting is my key to the secret garden, my way down the rabbit hole. I use my art to create dreamy, ethereal, eerie images with a touch of magic.

Pop Surreal is where my art found its voice as I’ve always been drawn to the strange and unusual. After experimenting with different mediums over the years acrylics have shaped and styled my art. I incorporate the colors of my painting depending on my mood. One object, song or dream can inspire a whole painting. My main focus is painting portraits with surreal landscape backgrounds, I tend not to plan my paintings too much and let it create a mind of its own.
