Air Ministry Military Issue 6B / 159 Watch Case. Longines, Omega. CASE ONLY.

I have been on a Facebook military watch site to try to understand this 6B watch case. I had many suggestions, but from what I can work out the Dennison company made replacement cases for the ministry, I’m unsure exactly which movement this is for. Any information will be gratefully received.

The auction is for this stainless 6B / 159 Dennison case, Perspex and it looks as there is a movement ring inside. Please study my photos.

The watch case was found in a house clearance, amongst a small collection of other military timepieces that I have listed.

An interesting find that hopefully will be useful to someone.

Measuring 37mm top to bottom and 30mm wide.
