Since ordinary IC amplifiers are single integrated circuit chips.In other words, the input stage, amplifier stage and output stage of the audio amplifier are all on the same chip.
The power output stage produces a relatively large amount of heat that is fed back to the small signal input stage in the same chip, and to the signal amplification stage.
This mechanism of distortion is called thermal distortion. This is also documented and tested in the SELF book.
Therefore, in order to solve this problem, NS National Semiconductor introduced the LME 49810, LM49830 series of power amplifier ICs in later products.
The 49810 is a design that separates the small signal amplification stage from the current output stage.
This greatly improves the performance of the power amplifier and greatly increases the power of the integrated IC power amplifier.
The output voltage range, dynamic range, and maximum current and power output are multiplied by several loads.
THD distortion has dropped by tens of times, and can basically be compared with high-end discrete power amplifiers with excellent design. Even more than a lot of mid-range discrete amplifier design.
For IC amps, or for beginners, this is a great choice, or for those who have the LM4766, or have installed the LM3886, 4780 amp, this is an upgradeable option.
The high-power tube is made of the original TTA1943 TTC5200.
