Notice: Customer feedback indicates that at least some of the cheap fake Onkyo knockoff remotes being offered only operate the receiver functions with no programable support for peripheral devices such as CD etc. I have also seen a fake knockoff with this RC-898 number on the remote and it was not even a direct functional replacement for this part number. (IE: The chinese copied a different part number remote and put RC-898 on it and it doesn't support the same features that a real RC-898M Onkyo OEM needs to operate it's matching receiver models.)
