Do you have a PowerBook 180c with broken LCD case standoffs? I did, so I decided to make these support brackets for others with similar issues. I print these from natural colored ABS for improved adherence to the display housing. These were a bit challenging to design as the back case of the 180c is curved and not flat like the B&W PowerBook models. I have only used these to fix the 180c, but I think the 165c might use the same back casing (but unfortunately I don't have one to test it on).

This listing includes one set of two plastic reinforcements for the display assembly. Laptop pictured is NOT included, only there to show what it looks like installed. The brass threaded inserts and screws are also NOT included - simply reuse your own when you take the display apart. With everything put back together, there is no indication any modifications have been made to the case. To adhere these parts to the existing case, I recommend using the two part Loctite Plastic Bonder. I can send more detailed installation tips if desired upon purchase.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!
