Antique Wood Cricket Stool with black and gold Tole painted surface. A nice example of early Americana. Handmade piece with pegged legs, and the legs do not come through the top. The sturdy top sides roll downward with carving on ends. The underside has the name “Florence McLoghein”. Artist? Provenance? The Cricket measures 13” wide x 8” x 7” tall. Bumps and bruises commensurate with age. Please look carefully at the photos.
