Authentic contemporary Indonesian batik fabric printed by hand with Tujuh Rupa, Sidoasih, and Parang batik designs.

Tujuh Rupa pattern batik fabric:

Eloquence and gentleness are associated with batik Tujuh Rupa. This pattern also symbolizes the life of Javanese coastal people, who are adaptable to new cultures. This cultural acculturation of the seven-way batik design is what distinguishes this Pekalongan batik as unique, intriguing, and different.

Sidoasih pattern batik fabric:

The Sidoasih motif is usually symbolized by the dark brown Sogan color with symmetrical lined motifs. The color of Sogan Brown symbolizes the origin of this motif, Solo. This motif also symbolizes the user has nature of mutual compassion, mutual care, and mutual fostering.

Parang pattern batik fabric:

Parang batik has a high meaning and a high philosophical value, this batik motif is one of the oldest basic batik motifs in Indonesia. Parang has the meaning of advice to never give up, like ocean waves that never stop moving. Batik Parang also depicts a relationship that never breaks, both in terms of efforts to improve oneself, efforts to fight for prosperity, as well as forms of family ties.

All of these batik fabrics are perfect for dresses, shirts, skirts, sarongs, wrap round, quilting, and home decoration.

Fabric Specification:

• Height: 100 cm

Notes:
• This batik is in the form of fabric, not a tubular form that has been sewn together. This is generally preferred by most people because of its versatility.
• I make every effort to ensure that every photo of the batik is as accurate as possible, but please keep in mind that the real color may differ somewhat depending on your monitor or device screen settings.

Use & Care:
• Do not wash the batik in warm or hot water. Wash the fabric with cold water and separately from other items, as you may get dye bleeds in the first few washes.
• It's strongly advised to wash the fabric by hand, but you may also simply wipe it with a cloth.
• Avoid washing the fabric in a machine and do not use strong detergent, bleach, or color brighteners.
• Dry the batik gently without twisting it too much. It might cause the fabric to distort.
• To preserve the depth of the color, hang the batik inside-out to dry in the shade as opposed to drying it directly in the sun.
• Use another piece of fabric as a basis to softly iron the batik if there are significant wrinkles.
• Do not use perfume or cologne directly on the batik.
