What does floating the secondary do?

The spacer allows you to float your TEAM secondary clutch on your first gen 2003 to 2009 Ski-Doo Rev. It allows the secondary clutch to slide back and forth on the jack shaft to align better with the primary clutch while the engine torques and moves. From the factory, the secondary clutch is in a fixed position. People have been floating them since 2003.

What are the benefits?

  • Reduced heat in clutches from less friction
  • Reduced belt wear
  • Reduced clutch wear
  • Reduced amount of belt dust for the engine to ingest
  • Improved belt life
  • $$$ savings from longer lasting expensive belts
  • excellent for sleds with tweaked bulkheads (that throw out clutch alignment)

How hard is it to install?

Simple install with detailed instructions included, no pullers needed, only fits TEAM secondary (see my other listings for regular application). (will not fit XP chassis)

Ask any questions, and I can help you to determine if this is the right part for your snowmobile.

I have tons of parts from SkiDoo Rev's so if you need anything else, let me know.

Canada Post / USPS is used for shipping.

Shipping Time Estimates: Everything I sell is sent the same or next business day from Canada, usually as long as items are paid for by around 4PM (GMT-5) they will be dropped off at the post office that same day. Worst case is the next business day, Monday to Friday as Canada Post is closed on Saturday and Sunday. You will be sent a picture and tracking info when your label is printed. The time estimates from eBay aren't accurate, shipping transit times to the US typically take 7 to 11 business days, and 2 to 7 business days within Canada, remote locations may be longer. Postal delays are beyond my control but do occasionally happen during these times. For within Canada, packages are sent by either Expedited Parcel or in a Flat Rate Box. For US packages, Tracked Packet - USA is used, if over 2kg Expedited Parcel - USA is used.
