We acquired this Ding Vessel at auction from the estate of a Korean doctor who lived in Seoul, South Korea and even though he believed it was cast during the Western Zhou Dynasty (1046-771 B.C.), we believe it was most likely cast during the 19th Century. The Ding Vessel stands 10¾ inches high to its Rim and a little over 13 inches high to the Top of its Handles and its Rim, which isn’t perfectly round, is 8¼ inches wide when measured from Front-to-Back and 8¾ inches wide at its Handles, and the Ding Vessel is a little over 12 inches wide from Handle-to-Handle. A piece of the Flange is broken off one of its hollow Legs, revealing Clay inside the Leg; otherwise, the Ding Vessel is in Very Good Condition, without any other issues.
