The TRiX Gen 1 Cooper S AERO spoiler / wing is made from 100% genuine Carbon Fibre with a clear gloss coating. It is NOT the cheaper carbon effect. It is a direct replacement for the OEM Cooper S spoiler, fitting in the original location with no modification needed. This is moulded directly from an original AERO spoiler, so the shape and size are perfect. This is a functional part which aids down-force over the rear wheels, improving overall grip and handling, whilst positively transforming the look of the car. Like the original AERO spoiler, this does not bolt on, but will need to be bonded on.

This Will also fit an R50.

Fitting instructions

This is a very easy item to fit if you have the tools:

1. Open the tailgate. And remove the rubber grommets that hide the spoiler. These can be found in the top left and top right corners of the tailgate.
2. Remove the 2 nuts that secure the spoiler to the tailgate.
3. Remove the spoiler (R53) or the rear light trim. (R50).
4. BOND the AERO spoiler onto the tailgate. Allow to set for at least 24 hours

 

Although this is a relatively easy job which should take no longer than 10 minutes to fit. If you are not confident, or don’t have the necessary tools, we always recommend professional installation as no instructions are included.
