One of a kind collection of prints once owned by the artist. The prints are photographic and mounted to board. One has notes to the printer “preserve the tones in the dress and cloak.”

These four prints are not hand signed, but I know these to be the artists own copies because I also have two prints signed by Volk, dated 1880 and 1881 and inscribed as gifts to his wife, Marion.

Prints measure 9”x7.5” - boards measure 18”x14”.

Douglas Volk ca. 1880 - four proof prints on board.
