Bicycle tyres aren't measured by the diameter, you need to check the size that is written on the side wall of the old tyres before ordering.

12 inch Black bicycle tyre 12 x 2.125
12 1/2 x 2 1/4 and 12x2.125 are the same size only one in a metric size and the other is imperial the important thing to note is they are both 203mm diameter
