3D printed replacement Axle and Gear set for Bachmann split chassis locomotives with round axle location holes. Condition is "New".

New and revised tooth geometry, we have re-engineered this gear to overcome some of the 3D printing process limitations. The gear now meshes much better with the worm and gives improved running.

These items have been reverse engineered from the original Bachmann parts and resin 3D printed. The price is for 1 set, 2 axles and 1 gear axle as per the photos. These are made in the UK by me.

Please note: you will need a wheel back to back gauge to correctly set the gauge of each wheel set after assembling the axles and gears and you will need to quarter the wheel sets to get the correct piston and connecting rod operation. If you do not own a back to back gauge, or are not familiar with wheel quartering, then it is probably better to ask a competent person to fit them for you.

These axles and gears were fitted to some older Bachmann split chassis loco's before Bachmann changed to the square axle drive.
