VINTAGE Cobalt Benjamin 16.5" Sconce Light w/UL-Listed Fitter. Beautiful Condition--Sold as a LOT of (3)
Cobalt porcelain "flat pan" shades with UL-listed fitters . . . ALL in marvelous condition.
These Benjamin(?) shades have qualities characteristic of early production: heavy porcelain and surface variations. I estimate shades to be circa 1920 (or earlier). Rims have porcelain chips consistent with their 100-year history but truly are in beautiful, original condition.
The wall-mounted arm of each fixture positions the light's center at 12.5 inches from wall. These "flat pan" style shades have an edge profile of about 1" and an approximate diameter of 16.5". Photos illustrate each shade's low profile.
Cobalt porcelain is bright; color is vivid; white undersides are nearly perfect . . . Multiple photos are provided for evaluation, and I'm happy to address any questions or provide more images.
Each arm has an identical, NOS UL-listed Leviton fitter with UL-listed socket; each fixture is newly wired with a solid ground lead . . . attributes that will please your electrician/installer and satisfy most building codes.
- A single "flat pan" cobalt shade is a "hard find."
- Three identical, 16.5" fixtures in XFINE condition are exceedingly uncommon.
