Offering a stunning large handmade handwoven antique tribal fine wool saddle blanket with naive repairs and minor wear & thinning commensurate with age. The saddle blanket is adorned with intricate patterns and designs that are all hand woven by skilled artisans with symbols and motifs meaningful to the tribal culture, adding to its historical and cultural significance.

The colours include a gorgeous deep ochre, turquoise, red, navy, tan, and dark brown; all vibrant and strong, as is the weave.  The blanket has fringes at either end, (mostly) in good condition.  I have individual photos of the repairs and of the fringes that can be supplied upon request.  This would make a wonderful addition to any collection or a perfect gift for an art or textile lover. 

Measurements: 253 cm x 169 cm

The three panels that make up the width of the blanket measure approximately 23 inches each (hand woven on a narrow loom and skillfully matched and stitched to create the complete blanket).
