“Hurry Home Honey” was Major Richard Peterson’s personal P-51 Mustang while assigned to the 357th Fighter Group during World War II. Maj. Richard "Pete" Peterson was an ace with the 364th Fighter Squadron, 357th Fighter Group.   He scored the bulk of his kills (15.5 air to air) during the last nine months of the war.  Maj.
