This is small, running shrub hardy to zone 2 and warmer. Fruit are said to be edible - we tasted them: they have unique apple-like taste and fragrance with a little, but distinct, bitterness. They were eaten by Indians - used to making pemmicans.  Seeds should be sown in cool place (cellar or outside) in autumn or cold stratified. Package 15 fresh seeds. Only a few packages available. Seeds harvested in November 2022.
