What a find! This is a Vintage Ertl Ford 4400 Diecast Toy Tractor. This is a 1/12 Scale - This is a very rare toy. It comes with its Original Box. The cardboard is not perfect. It shows some aging and normal wear from storage. This tractor came from a serious collector. When I was getting this tractor ready for picture, I noticed a piece of paper tucked in a fold of the box. Once I removed and unfolded the paper, I realized that I was holding the original receipt! This tractor was sold from an Ohio farm store in January 1979 for $3.12! From my research, this toy was built in the 1960’s so it much have spent some time on the shelf. As cool as it is, this Ertl is not perfect. The muffler is missing (very common for this model), the steering wheel has some pant missing and is a little flat on top, (most likely from something being stored on top of it. It has a few tiny imperfections from storage. I don’t believe this tractor was ever played with. The rubber tires look great and the paint is still bright. The front wheels turn with a spin of the steering wheel and the three point hitch raises and lowers with the lever. This is a very cool find and being able to see when and where it was sold adds to the wow factor. This will make an excellent addition to a collection. I ship to the continental United States.
