This listing is for a book of 41 First Day of Issue envelopes commemorating noteworthy people, places, and events issued during 1983 and 1984.  Each envelope has an actual cancelled US postage stamp on it as well as a 22kt gold replica stamp issued through subscription by the Postal Commemorative Society.  All the envelopes, replica stamps, as well as well as a card explaining the significance of the issue are in protective clear plastic sleeves so you can inspect them without touching them.  The description of the various covers and stamps are as follows:
