Description
Here we have a very fine and well-painted Chinese blue and white porcelain dish/ plate from the Kangxi Period (1662-1722 ) with apocryphal Chenghua Period mark, depicting two elegant ladies around a table in a garden. The rim has a trellis pattern, interspersed with lotus blossoms. The reverse is decorated with stylized mountains and a house on the outer rim, and a six character apocryphal Chengua Period mark contained within double circles in the center. The plate retains it's antique metal hanger. This is a companion piece with others we are selling.
Size and Condition: 8 1/4 inches in diameter, 1 1/4 inches deep. There is a rim chip at 4 o'clock with a continuing hairline (see last photo).
