18th-Century Delft Dutch Faience Tulip 14" Charger Anthony Pennis 1764 #46

Here we a superb Dutch Delft large antique 18th-Century faience tulip charger hand painted in cobalt blue and white . The cobalt blue retains it boldness and is quite striking in a plate this size. The maker's mark, "AP" on the reverse stands for Anthony Pennis who made this plate circa 1764. The plate retains it's original metal hanger.
Dimensions: 14" diameter x approx. 1 3/4" high Condition: This plate has been cracked and received an early repair. At about 1 o'clock a piece had been broken off and was reattached and touched up. Also small frits and chips all around the rim as is expected with these wares (see last photos). Please see the other 18th Century blue & white plates we are selling. #46

Shipping weight, well packed, is 5 lbs. Insurance has been added to the shipping cost as per Ebay's mandate.
