HammerHead’s Premium High Modulus 5/8” or 16 mm Diameter Tubing is our highest power formulation for spearguns yielding approximately 120 pounds of force per band, with a 400% elongation. A reduced inner diameter also minimizes any water intrusion slowing interior degradation. For optimal results replace your speargun bands annually or after 6 – 8 months of heavy use.
Always keep Natural Latex products out of direct sunlight or prolonged exposure to heat and moisture. For long term storage keep your speargun bands and all other natural rubber latex products sealed in a zip bag in a climate and moisture controlled area (like your refrigerator).
