Tuskegee Airmen Roscoe Brown's Bunnie P-51 Mustang, by artist Willie Jones Jr.   

 

“Bunnie” was the personal P-51D Mustang of Capt. Roscoe C. Brown.    He was a member of the all-black 100th Fighter Squadron, 332nd Fighter Group.  Capt Brown named is P-51 in honor of  his daughter, Bunnie. He shot down two enemy fighter planes during  his tour of duty in the Mediterranean Theater of Operations flying out of Italy.  One of his victories Me-262 was a German jet-fighter.
