This is for one 100MHz OCXO 20dBm out Step Recovery Diode driver fully tested. This PTI OCXO is a 100MHz SRD driver which generates a modified sine wave with a very fast rise time (2nS) and slower fall time (4nS)@ 100MHz and 20dBm. This fast rise time also allows easy frequency multiplication just by adding a filter of your desired harmonic. If you wish to use this for a sine wave just add a 100MHz
single pole band-pass filter. All that is needed for this is a 330nH
inductor in series with a trimmer cap for 7.5pF and you will have a
great sine wave with all harmonics 30dB down. Measured phase noise @ 4 offsets is as follows: -154dBc/Hz@2KHz offset, -146dBc/Hz@1KHz offset, -118dBc/Hz@100Hz offset, and -85dBc/Hz@10Hz offset. These have the same phase noise specs as the Wenzel D suffix version which were used in the same application. Color code for the OCXO leads is: Red and yellow are ground, Brown is +12V and Orange is frequency adjust. View both photos.
